PANAJI: VOLTE The State Government lacks oxygen which leads to death at least 83 people trigger furore online.
Netizens attacked in the state government, especially the Health Minister Vishwajit Rane, who was the first person to officially stated that covid patients were dying at Cave Medical College due to lack of oxygen.
Goans and relatives of Covid-19 victims accused the government to rub salt on their wounds on the command Center.
In a written response in the state legislature, Rane said, “Not at the time (not) oxygen inventory in GMC out of stock, and thus, no deaths reported (already) caused by non -cupply oxygen.
There are no deaths directly Associated with lack of oxygen.
But surely, consumption per patient increased due to Covid-19 tension.
“On May 11, Rane held a press conference to announce that 26 Covid-19 patients died between 2am and 6 in GMC during the second wave due to the decline Oxygen supply.
“Why did the health minister ask for an investigation of deaths that occurred during 1 morning to 2 in the morning? If it wasn’t for lack of oxygen, then why is there a hue and crying for oxygen? Twitter users Rajesh Mudras did not seem surprised by the government’s refusal and described it as natural as “people without mandate” forming the government.
Not everyone shares the same restraints.
Many calls for the government and accuse the minister of chairman and Rane to lie to the state.
“How can you be a blunt liar? With almost every proof available in the media and print media, do you think a fool? It’s salt on the wounds of people who lose their loved ones not to be covid but lack of oxygen supply,” said Shamila Siddiqui.
Toi has reported that at least 83 people allegedly died of oxygen problems between May 11 and May 15 while undergoing treatment for Covid-19 in GMC.
CM Pramod Sawant, who had visited Ward Covid on May 11, also hinted that there was a lack of oxygen.
