Hyderabad: The Supreme Court on Tuesday stated surprise at the commission of the Justice Sirpurkar who could not complete an investigation into the murder of the December 2019 meeting by Hyderabad police from four people, accused of reaping and the last murder of six months to complete the assigned assignment of SC.
Appearing for the Commission, headed by Justice (Retd) vs.
Sirpurkar, Advocate K Parameshwar told the court that a broad job had been carried out and that the inquiry panel needed six more months to complete the probe, assigned to January 2020 when SC has framed its reference frame.
The CJI NV bench and justice Surya Kant told advisors that the investigation of the murder of the meeting was formed a lot after the Telangana incident and that the Commission had submitted its report.
“Why does the commission need to check 116 witnesses? However, we provide the last six-month extension to complete the question,” Bench said.
On November 28, 2019, a young veterinarian was raped, killed and his body caught fire.
The incident caused a big steam in Hyderabad and in other parts of the country.
Four people were arrested in connection with crime.
Immediately after their arrest, hundreds of people gathered and demanded custody of the person captured to provide justice.
SC has arranged the investigation commission (COI) headed by justice sirpurkar on December 12, 2019.
In the order, “We are from the views considered that the investigation commission must be formed to ask the situation in it which of the four people accused, namely, Mohammed Arif , Chintakunta Chennakeshavulu, Jolu Shiva and Jollu Naveen, were killed in Hyderabad on December 6, 2019.
“Other COI members were former Judge of the Bombay High Court of Rp.
Sondurbaldota and former CBI Director Dr.
Karthikeyan.
SC has improved their remuneration at Rs 1.5 lakh per sitting for justice sirpurkar and Rs 1 lakh for other members.
On the contrary, SC on July 22 last year established the investigation commission headed by Justice (Retd) BS Chauuhan and consisting of the former HC Judge Allahabad Sashi Kant Aggarwal and former DGP, KL Gupta, to ask the murder of eight police and the murder of the next meeting of Gangster Vikas Dubey and five of his colleagues.
Because the meeting took place in remote rural areas, the Chauhan Justice Commission was required to visit all places and meet with witnesses.
Apart from the pandemic and other obstacles, the Commission submitted a report to the SC government and rose in eight months (in April this year).
Conversely, the Justice Commission Sirpurkar was given the first six-month extension on July 24 last year and another six-month extension on January 29 this year.
If the Commission utilizes the overall six-month extension given on Tuesday, it will complete two years to complete questions assigned by SC.
