Gurgaon: The rain once again brought worries for 200 families living in NBCC Green View in the 37D sector when they continued to struggle with roads that have not been paved that connect their communities to the main road in this sector for the past four years.
Residents said that the wait for the construction of a 145-meter stretch had turned into a nightmare endless even though they were repetitive.
The road 60 meters wide became very flooded during the rain and the residents were forced to cross the path that was hit by a pothole to reach the main road.
Yadvendra Yadav, a community of people said, “Every time it rains, we face this obstacle when crossing this non-pavum patch becomes impossible for two wheels and pedestrians.
We suffer even though they pay around RS 40 Crore as EDC to the government to develop sector roads.
From The stretch of 800 meters-long, the authority has developed a road that departed about 145 meters not paved.
“In July, the Gurugram Metropolitan Development Authority (GMDA) has written to land procurement officers (Lao) and HSVP Estate Officer-1 about the surrender of land for Development of Masters Road in the 37D sector and 9b.
“We have met related officials and MLA several times.
Even filed complaints in the CM window, but nothing was done to facilitate our problem.
Everyone passed money but did not want to take responsibility and resolve the problem,” said Deepak Jain, Treasurer Nbcc Rwa , Meanwhile, Senior Revenue Officer Lao said that material disputes were waiting at the Supreme Court and detailed reports would be submitted to GMDA immediately along with observations of law wings.
When contacted, Mani Ram Sharma, Head of the GMDA engineer said, “Patch of Land is under the dispute.
The land demarcation has been delayed with Lao and HSVP and once they do it, we will not take time in building patches.”
