Thane: Thane City on Tuesday reported 62 new Covid-19 cases, taking the total number to 1,35,908.
In positive developments, the city once again reported no new death.
63 people are also filled after recovery during the day.
The city is now left with 575 active cases.
The recovery rate is at 98.06 percent and the doubling rate is 1,876.
Among new cases, 17 people were tested positive at Vartak Nagar, followed by nine in Naupada-Kopri, eight in Diva, seven in Majiwada-Manpada, five in Kalwa, four in Local-Savarkar, respectively in Uthalsar and Mumbra , and one on Wagle.
Seven people were tested positively from the jurisdiction of Thane City.
Meanwhile, Thane Municipal Corporation (TMC) said that Covid-19 vaccination would not take place on Wednesday.
“Vaccination in TMC centers will remain closed on August 4, 2021,” TMC said.
