Kabul: At least 375 Taliban terrorists were killed and 193 were more injured during the clash with Afghan security forces, reported Khaama Press, quoting a statement from the Afghan defense ministry on Tuesday.
The ministry, in his statement, said that the operation was conducted in various Afghan provinces which caused severe victims for the Taliban.
A big pan has also been arrested again as a result of surgery, reporting Khaama Press.
Operations were conducted in the province of Nuristan, Logar, Kandahar, Oruzgan, Herat, Jawzjan, Balkh, Sisangan, Helmand, Kapisa, and Baghlan.
In Afghanistan National Defense and the latest security forces, 20 Taliban were killed and 12 more injured in the provincial capital-Lashkargah-Province Helmand, according to the Ministry’s statement.
Taliban spokesman Zabiullah Mujahid denied the group terrorists killed in the Helmand Province and claimed air strikes by Afghan government forces had targeted civilian people.
Afghan National Defense and Security Forces recently recaptured the Provincial Nijrab District of Kapisa supported by the Taliban.
Heavy clashes occurred between Afghan and Taliban forces in several Afghan cities.
Aghhan’s troops fought against the Taliban in Lashkargah when the battle increased in the city in South Helmand Province and the front line was in District 1 where the US held air strikes on Monday morning.
Over the past few weeks, the Taliban had arrested several districts in Afghanistan including Takhar, the country’s northeastern province.
Nationally, the Taliban controlled 223 districts, with 116 contested and the government held 68, according to the Long war journal, whose calculations with CNN estimates.
It is said that 17 of 34 provincial capital is directly threatened by the Taliban.
