In a statement issued after a visit on Wednesday, NCSC said that the parents of the victim who died told the commission team that a priest in the cremation land forced them to cremate his body.

The family of the girl who had died demanded that the cause of her earlier be punished.
“Deputy Chairman of the NCSC convinced the family that the perpetrators will be punished earlier,” stated.
After a meeting with parents, the Commission team also met with district judges and deputy commissioners of the Police (South West).
In a statement issued after his team visited the girl’s family, NCSC said that POA’s actions and children’s protection of sexual violations had been called in this case.
“The DM is advised to release compensation in accordance with the provisions of the 2016 SC / ST POA rules.
The Delhi Department of Government Secretary has assured that compensation will be given to the victim’s family immediately,” NCSC said in a statement.
