Nilgiris recorded a 29% decline in the case of active Covid in 10 days

Udhagam in: Nilgiris has recorded a 29% decline in the case of active Covid-19 in the last 10 days, when the district has recorded 404 fresh cases and 654 disposal.

On Thursday, Nilgiris reported 47 fresh covid cases.

“Visitors from Kerala must produce a negative Covid certificate.
For Tamil Nadu people return from Kerala, Swab samples will be taken and they will be stored in isolation until the results come out,” Balusamy said.
Samples were taken from people from other districts who entered the nilgiris.
“We take all possible precautions to load viral transmissions,” the official said.
As data, at least 2,800 swab samples are collected every day in the district for testing Covid-19.
The Door-To-Door survey is also being carried out wisely ward in all districts to examine the symptoms of covids among the population.
While the district has tested 6, 40,537 swab samples so far, 30,755 of them turned out to be positive for viruses.
From them, 30,083 has recovered until now.
At least 182 patients have surrendered to the virus in the district too.
This is the lowest covid victim in the state.
The district mortality rate is only 0.59%, against 1.33% of the country.
