One arrested for selling a pre-active SIM card

Letter: Special Operations Group (SOG) Sleuths arrested a 20-year-old young man on Thursday for allegedly selling a pre-active cellphone SIM card.
The defendant will activate two SIM cards using identity papers from each customer who came to buy one card.
Then the pre-active card is sold to other customers who want to buy a SIM without valid identity letters.
The police recovered a total of 10 pre-active SIM cards from the defendant.
Police arrested Anand Gaud, a resident of Bhestan, from Bhestan Tran Rasta in Pandesara.
The police ordered Rushikesh Baviskar who provided three SIM cards to GAUD.
Baviskar hasn’t been arrested yet.
The defendant has been arrested for criminal violations of trust, cheating, forgery, forgery to deceive and use fake documents as genuine.
GAUD is used to work as an agent for cellular service providers and obtain a salary of Rs 10,000.
To get extra money, he began selling pre-active cards he sold for Rs 300 per card.
Gaud will sit on the road near Bhestan Tran Rasta to sell cards.

The defendant will click on the photos of people who come to Him to buy a SIM and use their identity to activate the card secretly.
The SIM card can be activated only after sending valid document details on the authorized cellular application and only with an official agent.
“GAUD activates two SIM cards from one buyer and save it with him that will be sold later to other customers,” said a police officer.
GAUD claimed to get three of the 10 SIM cards from his friend Baviskar, who activated Sims using a similar method.
“People should not allow clicking photos on the phone by any product seller.
Only the number of ID cards must be shared and if necessary photos must be allowed only to be clicked through the official application,” Police said.
