Jaipur: Providing assistance to staff deployed at Ruhs Hospital, the largest dedicated Covid Hospital in the state, the state government has brought a rotation policy where after every two months of Covid’s task, the staff will be replaced with a new nursing fleet of staff.
In the midst of the fear of the third wave, the decision had considered the lack of nurses at the Ruhs Hospital which provided care to Covid patients.
The Ministry of Health has decided to rest on nurse staff after two months of deployment in Ruhs Hospital.
The Ministry of Health has issued instructions to the SMS Medical College Principal and the controller to spread 30 nurses for two months and they will be replaced by a fresh nursing batch, a health department official said.
While speculation increases about the third wave, which may appear in the last week of August, the state has reported an increase in Covid cases for the second day in a row.
Despite the marginal increase, the Ministry of Health officials appeal to the public to continue to follow the appropriate behavior of Covid.
Forty people tested positive for Covid in the state on Thursday bring the total calculation to 9,53,773.
On August 3, the country has reported 11 new infections while 18 people were found to be infected with a virus in 4.
August now, 40 new infections were reported from various parts of the country.
District that reported a new case was Jaipur (13), Pali (5), Udaipur (5), Naraur (4), Alwar (4), Ajmer (2), Banswara (2), Sikar (2), Sikar (2) , Sikar (2) and Bikaner (1).
Although 10 districts have reported new infections, 23 did not report even single infections in the last 24 hours.
There are no deaths reported.
The country toll stands at 8,954.
The active case in the state on August 4 was established in 211, but they rose to 231 on Thursday.
