JALNA: The Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) will put in an oxygen plant in the neighborhood Covid Centre in Maharashtra at the subsequent few days, ” a senior officer said on Tuesday. Collector Ravindra Binwade also explained the district government has undertaken steps to undertake the projected”third wave” of this coronavirus pandemic. “The DRDO’s oxygen has a leak rate of 1,000 litres a second and could cater to 190 sufferers at one moment. The system can accommodate to 190 patients in a flow rate of 5 LPM and cost 195 jumbo cylinders each day,” deputy collector Ravindra Parlikar stated. The plant has been installed under the PM Cares Fund. He also said the plant uses the Pressure Swing Adsorption (PSA) procedure and Molecular Sieve (Zeolite) technologies to create oxygen directly in the atmosphere. Currently the district Covid clinic contains liquid oxygen created plant that provides oxygen to 100 patients.
