Coimbatore: Coimbatore District Collector G S SS SSEAN has formed a committee to conduct an investigation into an incident where Dalit staff members from the Prosecural Village Administration Office before non-dalit men.
The collector ordered the police to register the case.
Collectors take these steps after the incident video appears online.
The request committee was led by Leela Alex District Revenue Officer.

Muthusamy, 56, who worked as a village assistant at the Village Administrative Officer Office in Odderpalayam near Annur, prostrated before K Gobalsamy, 38, Gobirasipuram near Pogalur on Friday.
Gopalsamy visited the VAO office to check several land documents.
He argued with Vao Kalaiselvi who asked him to produce a legitimate document to check the details of the property.
Gopalsamy is involved in the argument that is heated with VAO.
Mutthusamy intervened.
Gopalsamy was angry and allegedly harassed the assistant village by using the name of his castle.
Muthusamy allegedly slapped Gopalsamy.
Gopalsamy threatened Muthusamy and asked him to prostrate in front of him.
Muthusamy prostrated before Gopalsamy.
A spectator recorded the incident on the cellphone.
Gopalsamy filed a complaint with Annur police.
He demanded action against Vao Kalaiselvi and the assistant village.
The police issued a receipt after receiving the complaint.
