Chennai: Madras High Court has observed that those born after 1947 may not need to realize how the struggle of independence occurred, and said, “We enjoy the benefits of freedom, and some abuse it.” Justice S Vaidyanathan made observations while directing the United States to expand the benefits of retirement of freedom fighters to a 73-year-old woman who was the almarith her husband was a freedom fighters.
“The object of the Family Pension scheme1980 is to benefit KIP and KIN Freedom Fighters.
Attack and difference may not be material to eliminate retirement,” said the judge.
The problem is related to the applicant who was transferred by K Mariabal who challenged the commands that were passed by the representative of the Special Collector, the Social Security Scheme, Coimbatore on October 6, 2020, denied the retirement of the families of the government of government government as a late husband’s legal heir.

Challenging the order of rejection, the applicant has moved the court.
