When visiting the site along the Sidhwan canal where the Waterfront project will be built, Bharat Bhushan Ashu said that the first phase of the Canal Sidhwan Waterfront project (about 1 km from Ferozepur Road to Ferozepur Railway Line) at a cost of around Rs 4.74 Crore has been completed and a number The large population visited the area along with their children and family.
He told that this project included the development of green belts, special cycling lines, play zones, special pathways along the canal, sitting area, wall climbing activities etc.
In the second phase, the Sidhwan canal (from the Paketa road to Jalan Dugri) was being developed 1.6 km of the second phase (from the Jawaddi Bridge to Dugri Road) at a cost of Rs 5.06 Crore.
He further told that the green belt, plus a special cycle line on both sides, a double road along the canal, etc.

He further said that under the 3rd phase of this project, a seafront will be developed from Dugri Road to Dhuri Line.
He said that this around 800m stretch is located useless today, and when a seafront is developed here at a cost of around Rs 3 Crore, a large number of regional residents will benefit because they will be used to run Morning / night along with other recreational activities.
