Nagpur: With the efforts of the Union Nitin Gadkari minister, this city has received RS1.824 Crore from Middle Road (CRF) funds for various roads.
For Maharashtra, the Minister has managed to bring the total cror funds RS9.897 Cror for 584 projects in the last seven years the BJP NDA-LED government.
Of these, 201 projects have been completed.
During his recent visit to Toi, MP City said RS1.824 Crore was the highest fund received until the date in Nagpur from the center for 22 works carried out in various regions.
In accordance with the details shared by the advisory of the Minister of Balasaheb Jail, who is the former Head of the PWD engineer, four projects have been completed and 11 are on the verge of completion.
The tender for five works has floated while the rest is ongoing.
The main job under the CRF included a concretization from a busy road from Jaistambh Square to Manas Square, which was 3.63 Km long.
For this project, RS234.21 Crores is approved, which also includes the beauty of the box, flyover and underbridge railway.
“Mahametro has been entrusted with work and the time deadline is December 31 this year,” Minister told Tii.
The audience gallery of 4,000 capacities in Lake Futala, one of the Gadkari dream projects, is also being built from the CRF Crore RS112.89 fund.
Plaza parking for vehicles will be built here.
The minister told TII there would be mall food scattered on three floors with a watch gallery in the venue.
This work has also been delegated to Mahametro with the same time limit on December 31.
Another big project is a busy widening of the road located in market areas such as Gandhi Putla, Keibagh, Tulsibagh passing Reshimbagh Square, which stretches 3.30km.
A total of RS58.69 Crore has been allocated for this project, whose work is ongoing and the deadline is 27 February 2022.
Even the very crowded old Bhandara road, 4.30km will be expanded from the RS70 Crore received under the CRF.
Although the tender has been resolved, his work cannot be started because the Nagpur Municipal Corporation (NMC) has not provided additional land for expansion.
The road will be widened from the Mayo Hospital to Sunil Hotel in Satranjipura.
