Jaipur: From 6,483 companies formed in Rajasthan under the entrepreneurship program from the village (Svep), sub-schema under the Deendayal Antyodaya Yojana – Mission of National Rural Livelihood (Day-NRLM) Since 2015-16, 52 percent owned and managed by women and 82 percent came from the SC / ST / OBC category, according to data received from Rajasthan Grameen Ajeevika Vikas Parishad (Rajeevika).
According to officials in the department, the Svep program has been launched in five districts like now.
This includes Ajmer (1,874), Chittorgarh (1,685), Baran (924), Tonk (914) and Churu (1,086).
The company includes sewing shops, beauty panels, grocery stores, canteens, shops with items for women, garment stores, optical stores, etc.
“Svep began in Rajasthan in 2015-16 in two blocks – KKRI (Ajmer) and began (Chittorgarh) – to help rural poor people out of poverty by helping them establish a company and support them until the company is stable,” said an official.
In 2018-19 (phase II), this project began in Tararagar in Churu, Deoli in Tonk and antah in Baran Regency.
“The aim is to provide companies with business skills, exposure, financial support at the time of launch and business support for six months the first critical of the company using the SHG NRLM and their federation,” their official said.
In the third phase, Svep has been approved for the Hindoli (Bundi) block and Madhopur sawai (Sawai Madhopur).
