New Delhi: The Supreme Court on Monday published a notification to the center after hearing the request submitted to seek public disclosure of clinical clinical clinical vaccine tests and post-vaccination data, because the applicant claimed that the government had to publish it as per international medical norm.
“We publish notice.
We will wait for their response (Uoi).
Let them (Uoi) come with a reply.
We will hear the problem after that.
We will hear this problem, what you have collected,” A two judge’s bench from the APEX court, Led by justice L Nageswara Rao and also consisting of Judge Aniruddha Bose, today.
The petition was submitted by Dr.
Jacob Pubyel through Advocate Prashant Bhushan, before the Supreme Court sought his direction for transparency in clinical trial data for Covid vaccines given in India in emergency use.
The Petitioner, Dr.
Padangayel, also seeks safety at the Covid vaccine mandate issued by the authorities in various parts of the country.
The APEX court has asked Uoi to respond to the petition submitted by Dr.
Rawapaiyel, and caused a problem for further hearing after four weeks.
Prashant Bhushan told the Supreme Court that the first time in history, such practice happened, “without completing the vaccine court correctly.” He also said that Helsinki and the World Health Organization (WHO) mandated that all data of covid vaccine and trials must be carried out transparently, which, in this case is not done.
“Clinical trials must be resolved,” Bhushan said.
As far as mandating Covid vaccines, “You (the government) cannot force people to take vaccines,” Bhushan said, and also explained to the Supreme Court in his submission that the government had to clarify what harmed the effect, if there was a covid vaccine.
Bhushan said that for the sake of justice, the Supreme Court must direct the UOI to release all separate trial data for each phase of trials that have been carried out in connection with the Covid vaccine provided in India.
Bhushan also looked for directions to Uoi to reveal reasonable decisions about the approval of DCGI administration or rejecting the application for the permission to use the emergency vaccine covid.
Bhushan also looked for directions to respondents, including the Uoi, to disclose post-vaccination data on bad events, covid-infected vaccines, those who need hospitalization and those who die after post-covid vaccination such infections.
He said that the Supreme Court must also direct the UOI to be widely published data collection from the bad incident.
Bhushan also looked for directions to Uoi to reveal the detailed Minutes of the Subject and NTGI Experts Committee Meetings in connection with the vaccine directed by the 59th Parliamentary Standing Committee report and members who are committees for the purpose of each agreement.
