New Delhi: The cumulative number of the Covid-19 vaccine dose given in this country has crossed 51 crore-mark, the UNI Ministry said on Monday.
India takes 85 days to touch the number 10 crore.
Then it took 45 days to cross 20 crore-marks, 29 more days to reach 30 crores.
The country takes 24 days to reach 40 crores from 30 crores and then 20 more days to cross 50 crore vaccinations on August 6 in less than three days, one dose of the crore vaccine is given in this country.
Drive vaccination in the beginning of January 16 with Health Officers (HCWS) inoculated and vaccinated for frontline workers (FLW) starting from February 2.
The next phase of Vaccination Covid starts from March 1 for those aged over 60 years and for people 45 years old and above with certain comorbid conditions.
India launched vaccination for everyone over 45 from April 1.
The government then decided to expand the drive drive by allowing everyone above 18 who qualified to vaccinate from May 1.
