Patna: The Bihar Government on Tuesday signed a MoC (MOC) with Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation (Gates Foundation), as a part of where the foundation would provide technical support to choose the Government Department for the next five years, effective March 2026.
MOC , signed on the presence of August Bihar CM Nitish Kumar, Deputy CMS Tarkishore Prasad and Renu Devi, and Minister of Health Mangal Pandey.
The MOC focuses on developing institutional capacity to maintain transformative progress in Bihar over the past decade.
The state government and the Gates Foundation first signed the MOC in 2010, which was extended in 2016 and continued until March 2021.
The signatories to the MOC are currently Secretary of State Tripurari Advice and Foundation Gates the Menon Day Foundation.
