New Delhi: The center raised an alarm on Tuesday because several countries reported high reproductive value (factor r) of sarscov-2 which could lead to broader distribution of cases in the future.
R-Factor or R-value – which indicates how many people can be infected from one positive covid person – the highest in Himachal Pradesh and Punjab.
The two countries have a value of R 1.3.
What is more worrying is that it also shows further increase trends, officials said.
Apart from the two countries, Gujarat, MP and UP have R-Factor 1.1, while Andhra, Goa and Nagaland have a value of R in 1.
37 districts, 11 in Kerala, posting an increasing trend even as a new Covid-19 case Down to around 28.204 on Monday, the lowest Daily Covid number in 147 days, the district reported the trend of rising in everyday case increased to 37 out of 18 weeks ago (as on August 3).
Kerala continues to reach the top list with 11 districts that report a surge surge.
