Gurgaon: In an effort to check out of illegal colonies and enforce stricter penalties on contractors, the section of city and country planning (DTCP) has issued retrieval finds to 74 contractors to recoup cost incurred from demolition drives against those colonies. The finds, according to Rs 15 lakh, were served under part 10(3) of Haryana Development and Regulation of Urban Areas Act 1975. Officials stated that if builders don’t follow the good, the total amount will be recovered as arrears of land revenue. District city planner (authorities ) RS Batth reported these programmers, who dug out illegal structures and colonies, have tricked many innocent neighbors and investors. In the previous four weeks, the authorities wing razed several constructions in approximately 74 prohibited colonies. The section incurred price on earthmovers, videography, labour, vehicles and many others throughout the demolition drive, Batth stated. He stated the office of manager DTCP has issued strict instructions to the authorities team to concentrate on regaining the cost incurred by demolition drives. Another official said that the finds would be issued to programmers of colonies, that were demolished in the past one and half a year and retrieval is going to be created out of them. These programmers pushed out prohibited colonies on agricultural soil with no consent from the concerned division, which will be a breach of Haryana Development and Regulation of Urban Areas Act, 1975.
