Muzaffarnagar: A woman was killed and two, including a child, suffered injuries in Shamli Uttar Pradesh district on Wednesday after an explosion ripped a house where crackers were saved, police said.
According to the additional supervisor of the Singh Police Open, two men, Shokat and Munawar, residents of the Kazipada locality, have licenses for making crackers.
They kept it at a burning house, killed Munawar’s wife, Khushnuma (30), and injured her mother-in-law, noor, and a child, police said.
Further investigation in this case on, they added.
