New Delhi: The Delhi Government on Wednesday signed an agreement with Baccalaureate International (IB), which will be a partner in the new Delhi School Education Council (DBSE).
Baccalaureate International (IB), formerly known as the Organization of the International Baccalaureate (IBO), is a non-profit foundation that offers educational programs, headquartered in Geneva, Switzerland.
IB will be a knowledge partner for DBSE, the first Delhi School Board founded on March 19 this year.

Overcoming a Virtual Press Conference, Minister of Man Delhi Arvind Kejriwal said that collaboration with IB will ensure revolutionary changes in the field of school education in the national capital.
“Collaboration with IB will take education standards in Delhi schools to new heights.
The expert team will visit schools related to DBSE and will help teachers to improve education standards and experts will also assess their students and performances,” said Kejriwal.
Previously on July 29, the Delhi government has announced that 30 schools will be affiliated with DBSE for the first academic session (2021-22).
Of the 30 schools, 20 will be a new school of special advantages (SOSES) and 10 will become the government of Sarvodaya Vidyalaya in East Delhi.
About 5,000 schools globally affiliated with IB boards.
At present, 193 schools in India are affiliated with IB boards, all of which are private schools.
