SRINAGAR: The meeting began between terrorists and security forces in South Kashmir Kulgam Regency, close to the Mir Bazar area on Thursday afternoon after the BSF convoy was attacked at the National Highway, said the Kashmir Vijay Kumar IGP.
However, the troops retaliated, trapping terrorists in the Mir Bazar area, after the meeting occurred.
IGP said that strengthening was sent to the meeting site.
Police officials said that one of the CRPF troops was injured and taken to hospital for treatment.
