New Delhi: Ambitious Ambitious Delhi Health-Based Health Information Management System (HIM) will be implemented at the beginning of next year.
The massive project will see each Delhiite get an e-health card and have their medical history available online when they meet a doctor after taking a promise from home.
The process of selecting vendors and supply processes has been completed and works on a war footing to streamline the project and place it before the cabinet.
After reviewing the progress of the project together with Health Minister Satyandar Jain, Chairman of the Minister of Arvind Kejriwal instructed officials to speed up the process.
“The Delhi government is committed to providing the best and most modern health facilities to people.
We want people to access world-class facilities without problems.
Hims is a monumental step in this direction, so we must be very serious about the implementation and accelerate the timeline,” he added .
The progress of the Helpline and e-Health cards is also reviewed by Kejriwal.
The government said the selection of vendors for Helpline will be completed immediately and the call center is targeted to be established in the next three months.
The e-Health card project committee has deciphered and reviewed the request of the proposal.
After he was implemented, Delhies would be able to appoint an online meeting and consult a doctor who was appointed in a fixed time frame.
Plans are being carried out to distribute e-health cards through door-to-door campaigns, in addition to providing them in hospitals and other special centers.
The card will contain the patient’s medical history and they will be treated in every hospital on the HIMS system without the need to bring medical reports and documents.
QR-based cards will be issued on the basis of voter IDs and registry populations, from where clinical information demographic and the basis of each patient will be obtained.
Family mapping will be carried out for the scheme and health program and integrated with it for smooth information exchange.
While he will be implemented in all government hospitals at first, private hospitals will also be connected in a gradual way.
All patient care services, such as hospital administration, budgeting and planning, supply chain management and services and back-end processes will be brought based on this system.
