Bareilly: Two children, both cousins aged 10 and 11, were tied up and were contacted with a belt by a shopkeeper for allegedly stealing the candy package at the time of Thursday night.
Cousin belongs to a minority community.
A pine has been registered at the shopkeeper and his friend at the Kotwali police station “for wrong confinement violations and voluntarily causing injuries”.
Children are sent for medical examinations on Friday.
Both of them live in the same area in the city of Budaun and have gone to buy candy in the king of bathing around 8pm when they were arrested by the shopkeeper.
They were accused of stealing candy.
The shopkeeper was allegedly tied their hands with a rope in the store for almost an hour and beat them.

They bought a candy package from the shop and the shopkeeper asked them to buy the second of another store.
However, other shopkeepers misunderstood that children had stolen candy from their shops and struggled them, their families stated.
Sho from the police station Budaun Kotwali told Tii, “A FIR has been registered against two people after conducting a medical examination from both children.
There are injuries seen and their statements have been recorded at the police station.
We will take appropriate action according to the law.”
