Mumbai: For a smooth traffic movement during the flag lifting ceremony about the independence day to be held in Mantalaya on Sunday, the city traffic police have been closed for all vehicle movements on the falling route from Air India Junction, Madam Cama Road between the Maharshi Karve Road intersection ( Ratu’s Road) and Jeevan Bhima Marg (West).
Alternative routes for vehicles coming from NS Road to proceed to Junction Marine Plaza to take the left turn on the Dinsshaw Wachha Road through KC College – right to turn on Godrej Junction – turn left, Cuffe Parade Road and move forward for further travel.
The vehicle coming from Colaba, the Cuffe parade to proceed to Lalit Junction – right turn – Godrej Junction Turn to Karmveer Bhaurao Patil Road on CST and move forward for further travel.
Traffic police said came from the north, Jalan Worteshwar, Jalan Peddar may come through Netaji Subhash Road, Air India Junction, Madam Cama Road and entered Mantalaya through Jeevan Bhima Marg from the West Entry (Garden Gate Road).
Those who came from Jalan Maharshi Kare could enter the Mantallaya building from the west entrance.
Those who came from Veer Nariman Road, Jalan Jamshedji Tata, Dinshaw Wachha Road could enter the Mantallaya building from the west entrance.
The invitation came from Colaba may come through Nathalal Parekh Marg, Oval Maidan, Dinshaw Wachha Road and entered the Mantallaya building from the West Gate.
