Jaipur: a famous smuggler who deals with weapons and narcotics opened fire to escape while various police teams said after him on Friday.
The police team at least six regions of the Police Stayard was chasing the smugglers but he managed to escape, making a mockery of police claims at his barikad.
According to the police, acting based on the specific information about the number plate vehicle, the conscious police team first initiated the barricade and when they tried to intercept the smuggler vehicle, the defendant lights up in the air.
“He used the village road and we continued to relate to a police team from a different police station area.
However, the defendant after entering the Big Area Baju disappeared from our radar,” said Abhijeet Singh, police supervisor, Nagaur.
Singh added that the police team of at least six regions of the police station chased vehicles for almost 100 km and also involved Bikaner police teams.
“It didn’t work because the defendant used a narrow pathway managed to escape.
Wechased him for more than two hours,” Singh added.
Police officers further stated that they had concrete instructions on the objection of smugglers who would soon be arrested.
“We follow each protocol while pursuing him.
He is on our radar and will be arrested soon,” said a Senior Police Officer Treatur who is part of one of the teams involved in the operation.
