Moscow: The new 5.8 magnitude earthquake has hit Haiti, a day after a stronger deadly tremor, said the European-Mediterranean (EMSC) seismology center on Sunday.
The earthquake was registered at 03.20 GMT, with an earthquake center located 41 kilometers (25 miles) northwest of the southern city of Les Cayes at a depth of 30 kilometers.
On Saturday, Haiti faced a 7.2 big earthquake that killed more than 300 people and more than 1,800 more injured.
US State Secretary Antony Blinken on Saturday declared condolences to people affected by the awesome earthquake in Haiti which killed more than 300 people and injured several people.
