New Delhi: Wing’s economic violations have arrested two people suspected of cheating more than three dozen people crores rupees with the pretext of getting their work on the Indian train.
The police said that someone was accused of posing as a work facilitator and the other as a senior officer of the IAS and a Railroad Board member.
Two letters of appointment and training were forged to the target and even held a training session for three months in Dehradun before going underground with their money.
The defendant has been identified as Brij Kishore (34) and Sachin Kumar (36).
“Kishore was a graduate of Btech from Jaipur and worked for private companies before.
These days he was involved in several fraud activities, involving transfers, posts, recruits, etc., in various organizations and government departments,” said RK Singh, an additional EOW.
Kumar, police said, chasing a diploma in computer operations and running the Institute in Dehradun, Uttarakhand on behalf of the Indian NRT where students were trained for various types of entrance examinations.
The target will be a matter of letter to get training at the Institute for work in Indian Railways.
The initial investigation showed that people accused of taking RS 2.44 Crore from 40 aspirants.
Along with false cum-cum-training letters and three-month fake training, a fake medical exam was also done.
When the victims reached DRM Office, Nagar, Jamshedpur – ‘Reporting Office’, because they were told – they finally knew that the train had never released such a job.
The police received complaints from the target and registered fir.
The victims did not know about the existence of the allegations of people except their telephone numbers.
They used to meet them at Hotel Paharganj and near Bhawan, Delhi train.
In this case, most of the victims are very poor family members of villages around Agra, Hathras and Patna.
Technical surveillance confirmed the location of the men accused.
The EOW team acted quickly and arrested both.
