Thane: A 22-year-old man was arrested with a country-made revolver at the Mumbra train station in Thane City, a train police said on Monday.
The man, Mohasin Asif Shaikh, a Mumbra resident, was indicted under ACT Act and Maharashtra police, the train police said in the official release.
A police team was in the task of patrolling August 14 when he saw the defendant roaming one of the platforms, the release said.
When the team asked him, he gave a reply to avoid and see it, the police found a revolver made by the state worth Rs 75,000, he added.
