WB Plan 6 Km Flyover from Posta Market to Ultangga

Kolkata: Even when the flyover of Jalan Vivekananda is being dismantled, the state urban development department is Chalking Out a New 6 Km-long, connecting Posta Market to Ultangga.
After ready, the flyover will reduce travel time between VIP Road and Howrah from almost an hour now until almost 15 minutes.
The state government revived several other distribution proposals, including one in Syed Amir Ali Avenue and the others on the Road Prince Anwar Shah, which has been placed on the back of the burner.
The proposed posta flyover, the cost of estimated at RS 1,000 Crore, will begin in Ultakanga at one end, and will run on Jalan Cit, Kankurgachi, Maniktala and Vivekananda Road before ending in Posta Market in Strand Road.

Among the project that was revived was the flyover of Park Circus to Gurusaday Datta Road in Ballygunge, the Jadavpur police station to Mr.
Bakery; Em bypass to New Town, Garia to Jadavpur and Jadavpur to Majernat.
