Ludhiana: Even though the case has been reported from a private school, where class V students have been tested positively Covid-19 from schools in Shimlapuri, health officials have not started samples in private schools.
Also, the Ministry of Education has written to all private schools to share reminders through notifications so staff will provide vaccine details.
On Monday, more than 3,252 samples were taken from 57 government schools, but even a closed private school.
Sample 3,000-plus, 2,620 has been taken through RT-PCR and 632 has been taken through a fast antigen test.
This relates to mentioning that 899 samples taken on Saturday have been tested negatively.
Health officials have used the block sampling team wisely and they coordinate with schools and government samples from each school conducted, but sources in the education department claim that private schools do not work together.
Private school claims that they must look for parents’ approval for covid-19 student samples.
On Monday, the sample was taken from the Dehlon Block, including the Dehlon of the Government of the Government, Gurm of the Elementary School of the Government and the Dehlon of the Government and from Block Sahnewal, High School of Mundia School Government, Primary School of Ramgarh Government, Middle School Government, High School Government Lohara, Mangli high school government, and high school girls Gill government.
Previously, to ensure that the Covid situation remained controlled, RT-PCR testing was increased and had been instructed that at least 1,500 RT-PCR tests must be done at school every day.
The school was also asked to ensure that only teaching staff and non-teaching were fully vaccinated which were allowed to attend classes.
The health department has been instructed to carry out aggressive contact and testing contacts to examine the spread of pandemic.
Dr.
Ramesh Bhagat, district epidemiology, said, “We have asked Deo secondary to give us a list and the Ministry of Health will send a health team to do sampling, but no one has been received so far.” Also, Lakhbir Singh Education Officers have asked private schools to share vaccine reports and submit through the Google form.
Notification states that even after a recurring reminder school does not fill the details of the staff vaccine, class IV employees, and students above 18.
