Patna: A Gorkha Battalion Police was killed by exploring the throat after a fight for comments at a birthday party during the bodies in Gopalganj on August 10, Gopalganj SP Anand Kumar said on Tuesday.
Kumar said three accused of Amit Kumar (20) from Videshi Teach in Mohammad Kahim (36) from West Bengal and Vikash Upadhayay (26) from Madhopur Village under the Rasulpur Police Station in advice, has been sent to prison until Monday night which is suspected of being involved In killing Arjun Dayal aka Arjun Thapa (38).
SP said the police would move into court within a week to find trio detention for detailed interrogation.
“After that we will immediately submit a chargesheet and will try to install a case for a quick trial,” he said.
The Dayal body recovered buried in the mud on the village road to Chetitola under the police station Thave in Gopalganj on August 11.
Dayal, the native of Chitwan in Nepal, is part of the part of the Special Armed Police Company Bihar (BSAP), known as the Bihar Military Police (BMP), deployed to maintain the famous Thawe Temple in Gopalganj.
The company was scheduled to move to Bagaha on August 11 before he was stabbed to death.
SP said that Dayal went to attend a birthday party with a trio at the guesthouse near the temple.
“Some altercation broke out after comments from the side of the police.
Maybe everything might be drunk.
They took the police downstairs and killed him,” he said.
SP said that it was Vikash who first stabbed the police from behind.
“Kahim opened his pajamas lace and suffocated everyday to death with the help of Amit.
Duo finally cut his throat and stab him several more times,” he said.
Kumar said that they took the body to the side of the road on a bicycle and fled towards the city after throwing it away.
The Thave Sho Kiran Police Station Shankar said that there was a dancer who was present at a party where a change occurred.
“Dayal becomes too friendly with the trio.
A fight has occurred between the two parties a month too,” he said.
He said Kahim worked in the orchestra run by Vikash.
Sho said Kahim had gone to prison in the previous Indore in a criminal case.
“The police have recovered knives and bicycles used in murder and day shoes lost in the recognition of the trio.
Post Mortem’s report is awaited,” he added.
