ThiruvananThapuram: The state government has written to the center seeking its intervention in bringing back 41 people stranded in Kabul, after they contact the Norka Department asking for help.
After the instructions of Pinarayi Vijayan, the Main Secretary (Norka) K Elelangovan had written to the Ministry of External Affairs who requested an urgent intervention in this matter.
“After the instructions of the minister’s chairman, we have taken the problem with the center because only the MEA was empowered to eat this problem.
We have also shared information with the MEA about people who have contacted us,” said Ellangovan.
Some messages to Norka said that the Taliban verified their documents and took their passports and other important documents.
The country has shared with the center of Deedil Rajeevan contact details, who contacted Norka.
Although initially said that there were 36 Keralites, the numbers increased to 41 on Wednesday morning.
Representatives from the Keralite group have sent Norka root emails, based on the actions of the state government.
However, the source said that more details about the group were still unknown, including their existence in the state.
“All they tells us is that they are group 41 and they are employed in private companies there.
We must examine their existence in the state, which is their employer and whether they have reached Afghanistan directly from India or through several other countries in Where they were initially employed, etc.
Their entrepreneurs have the responsibility for the safety of their employees too, “said the source.
