Gurgaon: Some colonies consisting of illegal farming houses in Sohna tend to face actions within a week.
The Town Department of Town and State Planning (DTCP) team conducted a survey to identify the colony.
“Along with the ongoing drone survey in the Aravali Forest area in Gurgaon, DTCP is conducting a survey at Gairatpur Bas, Raisina, Kiranki and Bhogpur from Sohna Tehsil to identify the colony of illegal farming houses,” said a senior DTCP official.
The DTCP enforcement team will complete the survey in a week and show notice causes will be presented to the owners of agricultural houses that have been built without changes in land use permissions and other mandatory agreement.
District City Planner (Enforcement) Batth Hospital said the colony of agricultural houses had been built in these villages who violated several norms, including Development Haryana and Regulations of Urban Law, 1975.
“In the survey, the team team verified all the colonies of agricultural houses in This area by visiting villages, check their records and all related agreements.
If they are found to have been developed without permission, the action will begin against them, “he said.
In the past four months, the department does not only take action against illegal farming homes, but also identifies areas where builders try to carve colonies illegally.
BATTH said the builder deceived investors by not disclosing the legal status of the certification and advertising connectivity to IGI airports, highways and other facilities.
In June, four double-floored agricultural houses were scattered in 10 hectares of main land in the village of Bas Gairatpur at the foot of the Aravalis Bukit, returned by DTCP.
This was followed by another major demolition, where around 80 illegal farm houses were developed in two colonies of 30 hectares, they were destroyed in Kiranki near Westin Sohna Resort.
