New Delhi: More than 57.88 Doses of Covid-19 Crore vaccines have been provided for the state and the United States so far, and 18,62,62,530 other doses in the pipeline, the UNI Health Ministry said on Wednesday.
From this, total consumption, including waste, is 55,11,64,635 doses (according to the data available at 8 am).
More than 94 lakh balances and unused dosages are still available with America, UTS and private hospitals that will be given, the ministry said.
The trade union government is committed to accelerating the steps and expanding the scope of Covid-19 vaccination throughout the country, he added.
Vaccination drives have increased through the availability of more vaccines, advanced visibility availability of vaccines into the country and UTS to enable better planning by them, and streamline the vaccine supply chain, the ministry states.
As part of a national vaccination drive, the Indian government has supported the state and UT by giving them free Covid-19 vaccines.
In the new phase of Universalization Drive Vaccination Covid-19, the Government Government will buy and supply (free of charge) 75 percent of vaccines produced by producers in the country and UTS.
