Kolhapur: The number of Ex-Gratia RS 17.42 Crore from the State Government has been received by the District Administration.
The money must be distributed as a flood assistance.
The process of depositing the number in the bank account from the beneficiaries starts on Tuesday.
The flood-affected people will begin to receive this grant into their account from Wednesday so on gradually.
Kolhapur Regency collector Rahul Rekhawar said, “A total of 69,682 families were influenced by the recent floods in this district.
The highest number of flood-affected people is in the Karveer and Shirol regions.
As many as RS 17.42 Crore EX Gratia funds have been accepted for Kolhapur Regency .
Money will be transferred to Tehsilds.
The Karveer will get Rs 640 Lakh, followed by Shirol (Rs 507.8 Lakh), Ichalkaranji (RS 200.2 Lakh), Help (Rs 133.7 Lakh), Panhala (RS 78.5 Lakh ), Kagal (60.5 lakh), Gadhinglaj (Rs 47.9 Lakh), Shahuwadi (RS 37.3 Lakh), Chandgad (Rs 10.3 Lakh), Bhudargad (Rs 10.2 lakh), Gaganbawda (Rs 7 , 5 lakh), Radhanagari (Rs 5.7 Lakh), and Ajara (Rs 2.2 Lakh).
The Minister of State for Public Health Rajendra Patil Yadravar said: “The state government will help each and every person affected by flooding and People are asked to remain guaranteed to help.
Because the previous aid package for 2015-2020 is not enough, the increase has been carried out in the amount of assistance that will be given to people affected by the flood.
According to the GR issued by the state government on August 11, 2021, the decision for flood-affected homes, families were evacuated, shops, wealth of livestock, cabin owners, shade, and huts had been made.
The amount of Ex Gratia will be stored in a bank account from the beneficiary gradually.
Pancanama for agricultural losses continues and assistance for agricultural losses will also be distributed immediately.
