Ariyalur: District Administration Ariyalur has covered 99% of the antenatal mother’s population targeted under the drive of Covid-19 vaccination.
On August 17, Ariyalur was vaccinated 7,091 out of a total of 7,190 antenatal mothers, registering 99% coverage.
In addition to expecting mothers with contraindications in vaccination and mothers who recovered from infection, the Ministry of Health also includes those who anticipate labor.
Health officials associate massive coverage for 125 village health nurses (VHN) who managed to interact with pregnant women every day and persuade them to take Jab.
Those who claimed hesitant were not forced, and vice versa their relatives who accompanied them were given Jab.
Noting that their relatives are normal, pregnant women also agree.
Dr.
Hemachand Gandhi, former Deputy Director of Health Services Ariyalur, credited for strategies to allow consultation for Antenatal mothers on all days, so that the population is vulnerable often sensitive.
“Mothers are at high risk who are sensitive to medical officers and cellular units are used for door threshold vaccinations,” said Dr.
R Geetharani, DDHS Ariyalur.
Nilgiris (77%) and Screening (68%) have reached second and third place.
