New Delhi: Delhi police were fired from his services for allegedly involved in organized crime, officials said on Thursday.
Police, posted at the Paharganj police station, faced their action on Wednesday, they said.
Deputy Commissioner of Police (center) Jasmet Singh dismissed Constable Amit after he was found involved in organized crime.
A senior police officer said the action was taken against Amit after the department’s investigation.
House Officer (SHO) Station from the Paharjanj Police Station was also sent to the district lane.
The shooting incident was reported on Saturday, the day before the independence day, in the Paharganj area between two groups over gambling.
