Hyderabad: Telangana recorded 409 new Covid-19 cases and three deaths on Thursday even when the number of active cases in the country reached 6,865.
The total number of cases from the beginning of the pandemic last year stood at 6,54,035 and the death toll was at 3.852.

Jagiyal, Karimnagar and Nalgonda have the majority of active detention zones in the state.
453 patients were declared recovered on Thursday, taking the total number of patients recovered to 6.43,318.
The case fatality rate (CFR) stood at 0.58 percent while the recovery rate reached 98.36 percent now.
So far 79.8 percent of the overall cases in this country have asymptomatic while 20.2 percent have symptomatic.
On Thursday, 88,308 samples were tested for Coronavirus novels.
Telangana has now completed the testing of 2.37 Crore samples and has reached 6.37 lakh testing sample per million populations.
The Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation recorded 71 cases on Thursday, while Medchal Malkajirgiri adjacent to 28 cases, Ranga Reddy recorded 17 and Sanga Reddy recorded four cases.
Outside the city of Hyderabad and its edges, Karimnagar recorded the highest number of cases with 45 new cases recorded on Sunday while Nalgonda, Sangareddy, Jangaon, Peddapalli, Yadadri Bhongir, Warangal Urban and Khammam saw more cases.
