Bhubaneswar: A nine-year-old girl struggled for her life after she was suspected of being raped by relatives on the outskirts of Bhubaneswar, police said on Saturday.
The defendant, a daily wage worker, was arrested from Bhubaneswar in connection with the incident that took place in a village in the area of the Balipatna police station on Friday, a officer said.
In accordance with pine, the defendant, who was a relative far from the girl, estimated that when he was alone in his house, he said.
The girl was originally treated at Balipatna Hospital, from where she then shifted to the capital hospital in Bhubaneswar, and her condition was very important, the officer said.
The accusation was close to the girl’s family and often visited their homes, he added.
