A car that quickly raises a 30-year-old man

Coimbatore: A 30-year-old man was killed after a quick car hit him in Chinniampalayam at Avinashi Road on Sunday.
The deceased was identified as K Veeramananandan, Indigenous Kumbakonam in the Thanjavur District.
He worked in a lathe workshop in Vellanaipatti for the past 10 years.
A police officer with a traffic investigation wing (TiW-East) said a quick car had hit Veeramananandan after destroying five two-wheeled vehicles when he stood near the hotel in Chinniampalayam on Sunday afternoon on Sunday afternoon.
“He suffered a severe injury and died in that place,” the officer added.
Police said Varadharajulu from the teacher’s colony at Chinniampalayam drove carelessly and lost control of the vehicle.
Veeramanikandan’s body was sent to Coimbatore Medical College and Hospital for postmortem.
The police registered a case against Varadharajulu and further investigation.
