Chandigarh: Chairman of the Minister of Punjab Amarinder Singh on Thursday agreed to attend the installation ceremony of the new Punjab Congress Navjot Singh Sidhu, ending speculation that he could boycott the event.
The ceremony will take place on Friday.

The invitation acceptance was seen as a sign de-escalation of tension between the two leaders at the high command party intervention.
Sidhu and Amarinder Singh have been in Loggerheads for several weeks, with increased tensions after the former was appointed to the position of President of the Punjab Congress.
