Thiruvananthapuram: Detailed action plan to reopen the school in Kerala will be locked up after holding a discussion with the relevant department, the Minister of Education V Sivankutty said on Sunday.
Sivankutty said deliberations with various departments were underway to ensure the safety of children attending school.

The minister said the plan would involve ensuring masks, sanitisers for students and steps to maintain social distance and guidelines for vehicles transporting school students.
After remaining closed since March last year, the Kerala Government on Saturday decided to reopen schools in the state of November 1.
The decision in this case was taken at the Covid-19 evaluation meeting chaired by the Head of Pinarayi Vijayan’s Minister on Saturday.
“The minister’s chairman has directed the authorities to complete the requirements needed to reopen the school at least 15 days before.
Class for standard 1 to 7 (the main part) and 10 and 12 will begin from November 15 the other class will continue,” the release issued by Office of the minister’s chairman.
