Hyderabad: Trapped in Hyderabad for about two months during the locking made M Dileep Kumar, a traveler from the city, took his first long trip on a scooter to Chennai and gave him the confidence to complete the adventure trip from Hyderabad to Ladakh.
“I started my journey on September 8 and drove around 8-10 hours for 27 days to finish the trip,” Kumar told Toi.
“I met a small accident in Nagpur and had to hit a friend’s place for one night.
Even though I wasn’t hurt, my assets had to be fixed,” he added.
Kumar, did an MBA from the University of Osmania and had lived in Hyderabad for the past 8 years.
He said that after a little casual locking norm, he got Epass and went to his home town and from there to Chennai.
“This trip gave me the confidence to travel further.
Next, I went from Hyderabad to Goa in my Activa and camped there for 15 days.
After this, from Hyderabad, I covered Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Karnataka, and Goa, “He added.
Kumar said that he preferred a budget trip and brought everything he might need.
“I stayed at the hotel for only four days,” he added.
Explain the toughest part of his journey from Hyderabad to Ladakh, he said, “It’s really off-road on a stretch of 60km near Lake Tso Morir.
The maximum speed that I can get during the trip on the stretch is 10 km / h,” he added That while he could travel for about 12 hours in general, at the distance of the Himalayas, he could hardly cover 250 km in a day.
The 30-year-old player said that it stopped mostly near the gasoline bed, toll-aluns or in a village.
“I have never lived in isolated places.
Also, during my trip, I met various travel groups,” he added added that the next trip would go northeast.
Kumar, who took some part-time jobs including teaching, customer service representatives, among others, said that he had never taken a full time job because he was afraid it would not make him travel.
“My passion for traveling is also the reason why I’m not married, even though there is pressure from my family,” he added.
