New Delhi: The leader of the Senior Congress Rahul Gandhi on Saturday took friction at Prime Minister Narendra Modi and said that India did not have the prime minister but a king who expected the community to remain silent when he made a decision.
Overcoming virtual rallies in Kichha in Udham Singh Nagar, ahead of the upcoming Uttarakhand poll, the Congress leader also accused PM leaving farmers on the road for a year in the middle of the Covid-19 pandemic and said it would never do that.
“Narendra Modi left farmers on the road in the middle of Covid for a year, Congress would never do that,” Gandhi said.

The election of 70 members of the Uttarakhand Assembly will be held on February 14.
