Nashik: Nashik District has seen a marginal increase in the Covid-19 case compared to last week but the authorities said that it was not the cause of worries.
While the 688 new cases were reported between August 27 and September 2, the recovery was established in 570.
During the week ended August 26, the weekly case increase established in 560 and recovery was 607.

Even the fatality of Covid (19) has increased compared to the previous week (11) in the district.
Officials said that despite marginal increase in new cases, the number of patients under hospitalization was the same.
Of a total of 459 active cases in the city of Nashik, 407 are under hospitalization, while the remaining 52 is in house isolation.
Health Authority from Nashik Municipal Corporation (NMC) and Zilla Parishad Nashik said that they carefully witnessed the increase in cases.
The Nashik rural part has registered a greater case increase compared to the city of Nashik.
Covid active cases also increased by 10.26% to 1,063 active cases in the week ended September 2, against 964 active cases in the previous week ended on August 26.
In the city of Nashik, cases have risen from 30 per day a week.
Ended on August 26 to 39 cases per day during the week ended September 2.
NMC has increased two Covid care centers (CCCS) – Okker Dome and Sambhaji Stadium into the Dedicated Covid Healthcare Center with oxygen support.
Now, all 500 beds in two CCC are equipped with oxygen support.
District administration and NMC have appealed to people to follow the corresponding behavior of Covid such as wearing masks and maintaining social distance in an effort to curb the spread of transmission.
