Mumbai: a longer tour bus with 20% more sleeping beds will soon face the city road.
While producers have started a bus production which is 13.5 M in length and conventional, the Volvo India bus on Friday announced the launch of the first set of 13.5m long buses to be launched throughout the country.
The bus will provide up to 10% extra-47 seats seats from 43-and 20% of Extra-36 Berths of 30 – and will prove to be a gift for intercity and passengers between states.
They will also provide 25% more luggage space.
“We welcome a longer bus because passengers will get seat availability and comfort for intercity trips,” said an operator.
