ThiruvananThapuram: APJ Abdul Kalam Technological University Pro-Vice Chancellor Dr S Ayoob remembers Dr S Somanath as the peak of the 1985 Mechanical Engineering Branch College at TKM Engineering College.
“Somandangath is my senior at TKM College.
His humble representatives make him a lot of admirers,” said Ayoob.
He is a person who does not show doubts when his presence is sought at the campus meeting even now.
“I don’t even remember any example when Somandang arrived late for a meeting,” he said.
Somandang, who has been a member of the Board of Governors have long been selected as the first organizer of the KTU Industrial Innovation Board established recently.
“I still remember his speech after receiving the first Animation Kunju Achievement Award along with Dr Babumbuul in our college.
He described in detail how TKM shaped it on his way,” he said.
Ayoob said somandush is someone who never forgets his past.
He always spoke proudly about how his humble parents nurtured him all his life.
“In a reply speech after receiving the TKM award, he even mentioned an incident where he was talented by a pack of books about thermodynamics by Mr.
Mytheenkutty TKM,” he said.
Dr.
Somanaath even donated cash to an alumni scholarship program.
“I have to say, this is one of the most prestigious and highest positions ever occupied by our TKM alumni.
I also joined our alumnus in hoping that he was all the best,” he said.
