Kanpur: A 21-year-old married woman allegedly killed by his cousin after an attempt failed to rape him in Kanpur District Dehat at Uttar Pradesh, police said on Friday.
The woman had gone to her cousin’s house in the Shivli area to rest on Thursday when the incident happened and her body recovered on Friday, the police supervisor (Kanpur Dehat) said Keshav Kumar Choudhary.
“There is no clothes at the bottom of the woman’s body …
showing that there might be an effort to rape it.
We have sent her clothes for forensic analysis,” police officers said.
Mangal (35) allegations have been ordered for murder and arrested after the body recovered and complaints submitted by the sister.
The situation showed that the woman suffocated and then stabbed to death after she stopped the defendant from attacking her sexually, police officers said.
“We will be in a position to add further costs in this case after we receive an autopsy report,” added police officers.
